DESCRIPTION

The route starts from Chorio, turn right and downhill shortly after Agios Efstathios chapel, follow the very well preserved Kalderimi that passes from arable olives to ridges and beautiful upgraded stones and is not labeled. After a while you see to the right a stone bridge of exceptional architecture, and you continue on to Kalderimi, which in a while leads to a dirt road and a crossing.

In the first crossing turn left. When you climb the path you meet a right crossing, continue straight. The right path leads to Agious Apostolous church.

The path continues to the left before the bridge. The road from the bridge leads to Prassa.

Crossing to Perou, Continue downright.

After 300 meters you meet a new crossing where you go down on the right (going left leads to Perou area). At the next 300 m you meet again a crossing which leads to Agios Minas, while you continue straight and at about 200 meters you arrive on a riverbed. ATTENTION: you don’t continue the riverbed but on a path and then Kalderimi on the right side of the riverbed.

You go upwards on this Kalderimi until you meet a crossing in the Kaparies position where you continue to the left until you reach a dirt road again in the Roupa position (turning right on the crossing leads to the Church of Agios Fanourios and Prassa).

From there, follow the wide dirt road on the right with the large steep slope. At the end of the road there is Panagia Monastiriotissa.

Go down to the big northern and sandy beach Monastiria and you can swim or continue the hike to the other end where from the edge of the rock you will find the sign number 4 for the path to Soufi bay.

You can continue to the cliffs that rise to the left edge of the coast and following the signage on the cliffs you will reach 15 ‘in the very well sheltered Soufi bay.
