DESCRIPTION
The route starts from Chorio, from Ipapanti church. Turn left just before Agios Efstathios church and follow a concrete road and the “Skiadi” sign, and you arrive at the position of Lebounia, where there is a bridge in the stream and eucalyptus (approx. 750 meters).
From there, you either turn left onto a dirt road or you continue in the stream straight and you encounter a path, without signs, which will then take you back to the dirt road at a point where there’s a big “ampourdektis”. You keep going through the Agioi Anargiroi chapel. Ignore the little dirt road left that leads to the Prophet Ilias, and after about 3,500 m counting from the beginning, you reach the Sklavos site.
Going upwards from the road to the crossing, then turn left.
That’s where you go down a path and then an old Kalderimi.
Just below two stone old farmhouses on the left of the old Kalderimi, (800m. about from the beginning in “Sklavos,”) you will meet on your right a crossing to the path to Paliokastro, which you follow in the direction of NW.
Continue on the path number 2 and in the next crossing follow the path to the right.
From the crossing point of pathway 2 changes smoothly to cross-pathways, from which the right leads through an almost closed path with thorns and a low vegetative to the Vroulidi beach. From Vroulidi you can easily move north for about 15 minutes to two small nearby beaches, the Therma (with tamarisk trees) and Thiakos.
Returning from Vroulidi you will meet a crossway, where to the right is the path you came from, while to the left path (not well cleaned and unmarked) leads to the position Kefales of Path 3.
